Good morning...afternoon...evening....whatever it is for you. In my introductory blog entry, I mentioned several things that make me happy. It's one thing to tell you, yet another to show you! I omitted to say also how much I enjoy photography (no fancy equipment, just a simple digital camera),as evidenced on the walls and shelves of our home and the copious photo albums documenting our family history!. As I am a visual person.....surprise, surprise.....I assume many of you are too. So here is my first foray into adding photos to my blog. Mind you, if this works, we may have unleashed a beast!
My Easter Hot Cross Buns. I've had years where cooking these proved most unsuccessful. Try hard as rocks. This year, armed with a good recipe and fresh yeast, they were amazing...rose well and tasted great!

If you have any old baby knitting patterns you'd like to share, I'd love to hear from you. I'll now get off the computer and get my knitting needles clicking again. Don't want that grandbaby to be born before I finish! And on a cold winters day, while sitting watching the Tigers playing footy on T.V, accompanied by the ongoing commentary of my husband and oldest son, what better thing to do!
